Gibbon Backpackers Hostel is a travelers nest in the heart of Guwahati city, the gateway of Northeast India. The hostel consists of a common area, balcony, well furnished AC/ Non AC dorms, clean & modern toilets, cafeteria, books and recreation facilities. The hostel is functioning in a Heritage Bungalow.
The hostel is run by Root Bridge Foundation, one of the top Non-profit organization working for the promotion of sustainable tourism practices in India’s northeast. Root Bridge Foundation is the Implementing Agency of Majuli Tourism Project of Assam Government.
